9/30/2022 ELEMENTS OF ART DICEIf you are not yet familiar with the Elements of Art, not to worry! This project will help you become familiar with them, and be able to apply their theories to your artwork. Using the 8 sided dice template, you will create an Elements of Art dice. Each side of the dice will have a drawing that represents an Element of Art. NO TEXT- you will need to get your ideas across visually. After our visual note taking, if you still need some extra help, please watch the video and open the copy of our notes.

9/7/2022 Otomi Patterns
The Otomi Toltec HeritageBefore we discuss Otomi as an art form, we need to know it’s history. The Otomi Toltec people are a group of indigenous people from Mexico. Some historians believe that the Otomi were the first inhabitants of the Valley of Mexico, and the first to discover fire. Let's look at some Otomi patterns !Otomi patterns contain flora and fauna. Flora means plants, like flowers, trees, and leaves. Fauna means animals, like roosters, armadillo, wild birds, rabbits, horses, and deer.
