12/18/2019 Deadline WeekCongratulations PURPLE TEAM ! You all posted 5 of your pages for editing this week! Thank you for all of your hard work. Please remember that your choices in yearbook have financial consequences for the school.
12/2/2019 Team Work
At this point, your team should be established. If you have not already filled out a Team Planner, that is priority today. Your editor and chiefs will be checking in with each individual team member this week to see if you are on track to meeting your deadline, and to offer help and guidance.
Priority #1 should be getting photos to build your page. The yearbook is all about photos which means this is your first priority for quality and timeliness. Make a list of photos you would like to see captured. Priority #2 RESEARCH layout designs, and build a draft on the paper grid paper. Priority #3 finding supporting elements like captions, quotes, and short stories. Priority #4 assign team members duties and create obtainable deadlines. * * Your plan for all of this should be on your Team Planner for myself and your editors and chiefs to see. 11/4/2019 Wanted! In-Field PhotographerWe need a photographer to travel with the nursing pathway students.
10/21/2019 30 PAGES by NOV 14th !Let's do it! Work with your Editor, and Editor and Chiefs to find pages that you can take charge of. You will collect all necessary material for these pages: Articles, Photos, Captions, Layout ideas. 9/26/2019 Color ThemeLet's all get on the same page when it comes to color. We can use the link below to create a color scheme. We will all use the same HTML codes when we edit backsplashes, or insert colors into our yearbook, this will include our cover art as well. In the end, having consistent colors, fonts, and layouts, will give our book unity. Team Evaluations: End of this weekAt the end of this week, you will be asked to participate in team evaluations. Your Editors in Chiefs will explain more in class. This will be similar to a performance evaluation you would have with your boss at a job. Your boss would schedule a meeting where they tell you what you are doing well, and what you could improve. This is also your opportunity to let your boss know what support you need to do a good job, and to ask for help in getting to place you want to be in your career.
