NOT SURE WHERE TO START? Think of something you are interested in that involves movement: sports, dance, wildlife, water, astrophysics. . . these are just a few examples. You could also search National Geographic magazine, MoMa, or other photography centered publications or galleries to find artists to study. Our Help page has an Inspiration button, try that out!

2/3/2020 What is Photography All About? In your My Photography Research page, add a new blog post. Create a title. You will add a text box with a reflection to this question: What is photography? Click the button below to view our first-day-of-class post. Watch the video titled "What is Photography." You will add a YouTube link to this video (right click and copy link) and a short paragraph (to the side of the video) on what YOU think photography is, and why it's worth appreciating. Add a Title if you'd like. - I'm assuming if you are in this class you already have some opinions on this :) Finished? Please go to the Help page and click on Tools and Resources. Under the Photo section, click on the first link, Photo Composition. Read the article. We will practice these techniques today. Take notes if you wish! You will be asked to demonstrate these compositions later in class today.
